POMERANTZ RESIDENCE

Scope:

Work consisted of a 3 level, 20 ft. x 40 ft. addition to an existing 2400 sq. ft. House. On the third level of the addition are 2 bedrooms and private jacuzzi room. The second level contains new dining room and large family room. A Trex composite deck is accessed off the second level with stairs leading to ground level. The lower level contains a new recreation room, arts/crafts room and baseball card storage room. Construction challenges were limited budget , and fully occupied during construction. Other challenges were unstable soil was encountered due to an underground stream and poor site drainage. Brightly colored rooms with carpet and wood laminate flooring give this addition a warm and welcoming feel.
